Job Description

As Love, Bonito further strengthens its leading position in our growing market and establishes its online presence globally, we are looking for a creative retail Visual Merchandiser to drive branding across all Love, Bonito retail stores, increase sales, and to provide an excellent in-store experience. The goal is to use visual merchandising to convert window shoppers into prospects, drive sales objectives and maximise profitability.

Main Responsibilities

  • Understand the psychological impact of visual merchandising, and craft impressionable retail experiences for shoppers at every touchpoint. 
  • Assist HO Visual Merchandiser on weekly layout changes in the store based on the company’s plan and the store’s sales results. Liaise with HO Visual Merchandiser for any necessary VM changes. 
  • Responsible for boosting sales of SKU displayed on our mannequins, product displays, newly launched, best selling and slow selling products as part of your KPIs.
  • Ensure that layouts, displays and mannequins are well maintained throughout the week. 
  • Consider thoroughly different item presentation methods to effectively showcase product USPs. 
  • Liaise with HO Visual Merchandiser for fixtures, signage, or other related VM requests if any. 
  • Ensure to promptly display signages and remove them after the stipulated end date. 
  • Initiate constant improvements and refinements throughout the store and suggest it to HQVM; report any inefficiencies for layout if sales are less than expected.
  • Analyse and identify Best and Slow Selling products to boost product selling and increase sales. 
  • Inform and educate other team members regarding strategies for displaying products, visual merchandises, mannequins, and educate of weekly new launches.
  • Be responsible for every visual merchandise assets in store (purchase visual merchandise items when needed, responsible for damages, loss, etc.).

  • A strong visual merchandising and commercial awareness, have a good understanding and know-how in coordinating colours and styles.
  • An understanding of the LB brand and visual aesthetic.
  • A quick learner.
  • The ability to visualise big picture results, but treat details with exceptional care. 
  • An ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with professionalism, responsiveness, and flexibility under critical pressure.
  • A self-starter with a proactive and hands-on attitude with enthusiasm to work and achieve as part of a team. Get it done right and fast!
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Requirements & Experiences

  • Female, Single, age 20 - 30 years old. 
  • Height Min. 158cm
  • Good looking and fashionable 
  • Minimum 1+ years of experience in a fashion-related field. 
  • Good working knowledge of Excel and Google Workspace (Sheets and Slides).
  • Ability to communicate in English is preferred (expected to have foreign tourists in our store!). 
  • Open to working various shifts and able to work 6 days a week (including weekends and public holidays). Weekends are where all the magic happens!
