Job Description

As the Operations and Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for managing Love, Bonito Indonesia’s supply chain including freight, fulfillment center operations, channel management, last mile as well as implementing and improving fundamental business operations such as WMS/ ERP. You will proactively identify needs and opportunities for improvements in order to implement best-in-class supply chain and operations practices to drive change to the organization’s business operation strategy. Reporting directly to the Country Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping Love, Bonito’s operations and supply chain through this exhilarating expansion phase.

Main Responsibilities

Team Management & Project Manager 

  • Managing, mentoring & leading 3 pillars within the Indonesia office: 
    • Business Operations & Channel Management
    • Warehouse & Fulfillment
    • Supply Chain 
  • Collaborate closely with all other functional team leads for new projects and key initiatives to improve the current operational process. 
  • Project manager for upcoming system migration projects such as SAP implementation to the Indonesia team. 
  • Develop a comprehensive operation strategy for Indonesia as part of Love, Bonito’s business strategy to build capabilities and capacity for future growth. 

 

Business Operations & Channel Management

  • Key personnel in being the expert on systems & Network of ERP and/ or WMS and work with the necessary stakeholders to ensure seamless business operations. 
  • Liaise closely with external vendors from ERP/ WMS to implement, improve, and troubleshoot operational needs.
  • Build a brand new business operations & channel management team that’s responsible for inbound & receiving, weekly launches, packing list management, and order/replenishment management.
  • Refine channel management and digital operations by driving efficiency and communication improvements across cross-functional teams. 

 

Warehouse & Fulfillment 

  • Manage, mentor, and develop existing teams across Warehouse and Fulfillment.
  • Develop and refine metrics to assess warehouse and fulfillment performance.
  • Ability to work very closely with external 3PL vendors and internal teams’ to improve customers' experience from omnichannel fulfillment, customer returns, store-to-store fulfillment etc. 
  • Good business acumen of understanding the business growth plans and being able to provide scalable solutions for our warehouse and fulfillment for the coming years. 
  • Maintain warehouse capacity and opportunity to expand.
  • Fulfillment: Keep track of quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficient material handling to stores.
  • Fulfillment: Seek opportunity to have efficient flow of delivery for outstation stores (new location or delivery method).

 

Supply Chain 

  • Work with internal teams especially merchandising to review end-to-end supply-chain solutions for freight, cross-border, and importation.
    • Include deep understanding of carriage inwards components from COGS, Freight cost, custom charges to be able to provide scalable solutions in maintaining a healthy Gross Profit margin. 
  • Work closely with external 3PL vendors from freight forwarders, customs, and other supply chain vendors to ensure a much smoother freight inbound. 
  • Continuously evolve and troubleshoot shipment uncertainties that constantly happen in Indonesia while offering more scalable solutions moving forward. 
  • Be on top of the new regulatory requirements/ changes that’s needed for importation/ customs with 3PL partner & our HQ supply chain team.

  • Nimble and have the ability to adapt in supply chain disruptions, collaborate with vendors, and internal teams to mitigate risks and minimize impact to the business.
  • The ability to summarize complex business issues and evaluate opportunities for improved functionality, cost savings, and SLAs.
  • Proactive, ambitious, and assertive: you take ownership of your work and should think beyond the scope of a given assignment.

Requirements & Experiences

  • 5-7 years of relevant professional experience in as operations lead, importation/ supply chain operations capacity, or any other related scope of hands-on operational experience which includes, system, vendors, & team-management.
  • Demonstrated record of managing and building a high-performing team.
  • Superior analytical abilities and quantitative skills with advanced knowledge of systems (ERP and WMS) and proficient in Excel. 
  • Past experience in a high growth, fast-paced, and dynamic environment with exposure to e-commerce, fashion retail is a plus.
